ForGold Lead with Eco Friendly Mining Processes

Released on: April 16, 2008, 1:52 am

Press Release Author: NetRelease

Industry: Environment

Press Release Summary: ForGold propose shift from wash plant processing to Gravity
Separation Technology.

Press Release Body: The proposal by ForGold's management team was put to ForGold's
board of directors and included a project initiation document (PID) and
implementation plan detailing how the project (if approved) would, over the next two
years migrate all wash plant processing plants to the new environmentally friendly
GST system.

Wash plant processing has recently come under scrutiny from the WWF as being
non-compliant with their Ecological Footprint, which is set out to measure human
demand on the Earth's ecosystems and natural resources. Wash plant processing uses
natural local water supplies and is often reported to cause pollution and damage to
the surrounding ecosystem.

Gravity Separation Technology, would integrate with ForGold's "Eco Aware" policy and
again reinforce their stance for supporting the Global Enterprise Environment
Initiative set out by the Ministry for the Environment.
